Wave Motion wins big at business plan competition

Wave Motion Launch wins prize for Best Innovation at the University of Washington Dempsey BPC!

Competing under the name “WM Launch Services” at the time, the Wave Motion team entered the UW’s Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship and ended up placing in the top 16 teams after two grueling rounds, down-selecting from first over 100 business plans, and then 34 live presentations. Though we missed the grand prize, Wave Motion managed to snag the $2500 Perkins-Coie Best Technology/Innovation for the Wave Motion Cannon.

The competition was a fantastic experience and helped us develop our business strategy and get acquainted with investors. A big shout-out to the Buerk Center staff, and we hope we can return to competitions in future years!
